I write as an imperative. I am an autodidact by nature.
My charge is to engage with visual culture in a way that exemplifies aesthetic quality and conceptual rigor, that values storytelling, problematics power, integrates socio-political realities of time and place, and highlights the broadest possible cross-section of contemporary cultural production.
My point of departure is multicultural, multidisciplinary, multisensory, and multidimensional.
I am committed to developing and advancing critical discourse about cultural production and consumption, art historical scholarship, using writing and curation as my tools.
